Scotch Bonnet - Red peppers are a hot Jamaican pepper that are often used in Caribbean dishes. Peppers are a little less pungent than habanero peppers, but still are packed with spice. Each one is 1” long, and matures from green to red with wrinkled skin. Plants are green with white flowers and grow 36-48” tall. Sow seeds ¼” deep indoors and transplant seedlings to full sun in late spring. A small amount of these peppers can add heat to a large dish.
