English-French Glossary about the UN, NGOs and the Main Challenges of Today's World: 13,000 Words and expressions (French Edition)

After the Covid-19 pandemic that shook the entire planet and from which a new language was born, other emergencies continue to occur. The most important is now the environmental concerns with the escalation of the climate change. Again, new actions are taken, and new expressions with a different meaning appear.This is what spurred me to put out a third edition of the "English-French Glossary of the United Nations, NGOs and International Relations" first published in 2020. Far from being exhaustive, this glossary of the main challenges of today's world comprises 13,000 entries, as well as many official titles of various UN departments and of major international documents, and some colloquial language more and more commonly used. This totally updated glossary will be particularly useful for every translator, speechwriter or editor, journalist or student working in the international field. Read more
